Reporting an issue
Please include your device model, operating-system version, DiscCam version, and the steps that caused the problem. A screen recording can also help when it does not contain private information.
Where are my DiscCam collectibles stored?
DiscCam collectibles are currently stored locally on your device. DiscCam does not provide an account, cloud sync, or DiscCam cloud backup. Deleting the app, deleting local data, or losing your device may make collectibles unrecoverable.
Why does DiscCam need Camera access?
Camera access lets you capture moments and turn them into CD or vinyl collectibles. You can review or change Camera permission in your device settings.
Why does DiscCam sometimes need Photos access?
Custom Story backgrounds use a system picker for the image you select. On iOS, saving Cover Art and preparing TikTok shares may request permission to add to Photos. Older Android versions may request storage permission to save Cover Art. You can review or change permissions in your device settings.
Why did a TikTok share leave a copy in Photos?
On iOS, DiscCam creates a Photos copy so TikTok can import your export. Cleanup depends on existing Photos access and may not succeed, including after a cancelled or failed share. If a copy remains, you can delete it manually in Photos.
Why isn’t Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok opening correctly?
Make sure the destination app is installed, updated, and signed in. Availability of direct sharing can also depend on the destination app and platform. You can use More to open your device’s native share sheet and choose another available destination.
How do I restore DiscCam Pro?
Check that you are using the Apple or Google store account used for the purchase, connect to the internet, and choose Restore Purchases in DiscCam’s Settings or paywall. Restore checks for eligible purchases; it does not make a new purchase. If access is still unavailable, contact support with your platform and DiscCam version, without sending payment-card details.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Monthly and Yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple or Google subscription settings before renewal. Deleting DiscCam does not cancel a subscription. Lifetime is a one-time Core Pro purchase, not a recurring subscription. Refund requests are handled through the relevant store.
How does Tracklist work on iOS?
You can search the Apple Music catalog and attach up to five tracks to a collectible. Search needs an internet connection and sends your search text and catalog region through DiscCam’s backend to Apple Music. Song IDs, titles, artists, and their order are saved locally. Tracklist does not play music, access your Apple Music library, or request music authorization.
Can I recover a deleted collectible?
Deleted collectibles may not be recoverable because DiscCam stores them locally and does not provide DiscCam cloud backup. Deleting a collectible does not remove copies you saved to Photos or shared elsewhere.
